Sandy Gamba, who has dedicated her professional life to higher education, brings more than 14 years of experience with various universities to Advantages Online Private School. Her passion has taken her to Washington, DC where she legislated for equal access to college opportunities by increasing financial assistance. Gamba holds an M. B. A. from University of Denver and an undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University.
Gamba is a leader in the education community. She served a three-year term as president of the five-state Rocky Mountain Association of College Admission Counselors. Gamba has served on committees and boards including the Hispanic Association of Nevada Educators and lead enrollment efforts for five separate universities.
Gamba and her colleagues founded Advantages Online Private School in 2007. After seeing budgets and course offerings cut in public schools, they wanted to “level the playing field” and give students the opportunity of diverse course offerings with individualized attention.
