As the director for Advantages Online Private School, Pam Dion uses skills she developed as both a highly qualified educator, marketing professional and technological expert. She holds a Master of Education from National University with an emphasis in reading and language arts. Dion also holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in industrial technology.
She uses her blend of skills to provide a cutting-edge educational structure for students. Dion has designed curriculum for after-school programs in addition to philanthropic marketing and fundraising.
She has a passion for education and to motivate students to set and develop plans to meet goals in addition to problem-solving. The skill is backed up by a multiple subject teaching credential (CLAD).
Dion and her colleagues founded Advantages Online Private School in 2007. After seeing budgets and course offerings cut in public schools, they wanted to “level the playing field” and give students the opportunity of diverse course offerings with individualized attention.
